The Mystery...

Part 1 -  Jesus Prays

Picture

What's Happened So Far?

  • Jesus knows that he is going to die soon. He has already told his friends to be ready because soon he will no longer be with them.
  • He decides to go to the ‘Garden of Gethsemane’ to spend some time with his father, God.
  • Jesus prays and asks God to take his fate away – he doesn’t want to die! But ultimately he prays ‘Not my will, but Yours be done’.

Something To Think About:

Sometimes we have to face difficult times in life, when we don’t know what to do, or how we’re going to get through it.
Like Jesus, we can cry out to God for help in these times, whether it’s the first time we’ve ever spoken to him, or we talk to him all the time, God always hears our prayers.
