The Mystery...

Part 2 -  Jesus Betrayed

Picture

What's Happened So Far?

  • Having been to the garden of Gethsemane to pray with some of his friends, Jesus’ friend Judas betrays him by leading an angry mob to arrest him, armed with swords and clubs.
  • Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss, and Jesus goes with the men peacefully – he knows that this has to happen, and that ultimately he was born to die, as it had been written long before.

Something To Think About:

Sometimes the people who are closest to us are the ones who will let us down the most. We’re all human, none of us are perfect, and we’re all capable of hurting each other, and being hurt by the people we love the most.

No matter what we do, or how much we mess things up though, God will never leave us or betray us, we can always trust and rely on him.
