What's Happened So Far?
- After the Jewish authorities find Jesus guilty of ‘blasphemy’, Peter, one of Jesus’s closest friends, is questioned nearby on whether he is one of Jesus’ followers.
- He denies three times that he even knows Jesus, and a cock crows, reminding him that this is exactly what Jesus predicted would happen when he earlier promised “Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.”

We all want to think that we’ll always be there for our friends, and stick by them through everything, but sometimes we drift apart, and sometimes we fall out with people and friendships end.
Maybe take the opportunity this Easter to think about any friends who’ve hurt you and you need to forgive, or who you’d drifted from and want to reach out to. Sometimes this is hard, but we can ask God to help us.
