Well done!!! You found the eighth clue!!!

The Mystery...

Part 8 -  Jesus Helped By Simon

What's Happened So Far?

  • The Romans torture Jesus, humiliate him, and force him to carry the heavy wooden cross that they plan to execute him on.
  • At some point in the journey to the place of execution, the Romans made a man called Simon carry the cross on Jesus’ behalf, probably because Jesus was too weak to go on alone.

Something To Think About:

Everyone faces difficulties and trials in life, and sometimes it can feel too difficult to face these on our own.

God puts us in friendships and in our families to help those around us when they need it, and to be helped by them in our hour of need. A famous old saying reminds us that “A burden shared, is a burden halved”.

Can you think of anyone who is facing a difficult time and may need your help?
