Do you want to find the true meaning of Christmas? There will be lots of Jesus Rocks (and other characters from the Nativity story) to find in Alsager. Our hope is that you will have great fun searching as a family, find a Jesus Rock and start talking about all things Christmas and how Jesus fits into the story.
We’ll place the Jesus Rocks in prominent (or only slightly obscured) places in Alsager. Each rock will be laid on a bed of straw so you'll be sure to notice them. There will be also be Marys, Josephs, some Wise Men, shepherds and sheep and even a few angels. And one donkey! Will you find a full set? We will be staggering the distribution so that there will be rocks to be found between Sunday 1st Friday 20th December. Please only take one of each type. If you find one it is yours to keep, but please post a photograph of where you found it on: Facebook (ChristChurchAlsager) X (formerly Twitter) (@chchalsager) with the hashtag #jesusrocksalsager |

Bring your Jesus Rock to our Crib Service on 24th December at 3pm and you will receive a small chocolate gift (while stocks last!).
If you find more than one of the same type, tell a friend where it is so they can join in the fun! Don't worry if you struggle to find a Jesus Rock, we will post clues on Facebook and X. Happy hunting! |
